Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and relationship with Discord

These Terms form an agreement between you and the independent developer operating Suicaptor ("Suicaptor," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you install, access, or use the Suicaptor Discord app, bot commands, related game features, and www.suicaptor.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Suicaptor runs on Discord but is not Discord, Inc. and is not sponsored or endorsed by Discord. Your use of Discord remains governed by Discord's own terms, policies, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service and remove the app from servers you control.

2. Eligibility and server authorization

You must be old enough to use Discord in your country and legally able to agree to these Terms. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use Suicaptor only with that permission.

You may install or configure Suicaptor in a Discord server only when you have the permissions and authority to do so. Server owners and administrators remain responsible for their server rules, permissions, moderation, and member access.

3. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended through Discord and the public website.

You may not:

• break the law, Discord's rules, or another person's rights;
• harass others, submit unlawful or abusive content, or use Suicaptor to facilitate spam;
• exploit bugs, automate play through unauthorized bots or scripts, manipulate outcomes, evade limits, or interfere with fair play;
• probe, attack, overload, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or access controls except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• sell, rent, trade for real-world value, or otherwise commercially transfer a Suicaptor account, card, currency, item, or benefit outside features we expressly provide; or
• impersonate Suicaptor, its operator, Discord, or another user.

Please report suspected vulnerabilities privately through the contact method below and do not expose user data or disrupt the Service.

4. Game progress and virtual items

Cards, coins, Gems, equipment, collectibles, upgrades, ranks, and all other in-Service items or balances are limited, revocable features of the Service. They are not money, stored value, securities, or personal property; have no cash value; and cannot be redeemed for cash or anything outside the Service.

We may correct errors, reverse duplicate or fraudulent transactions, rebalance game systems, change drop rates or features, or adjust virtual items when reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Service. Discord-to-Discord trades use the Service's confirmation flow, but you remain responsible for reviewing an offer before confirming it.

5. Optional purchases

If purchases are enabled, Suicaptor may offer optional Gems or other digital benefits for prices shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe, not Suicaptor, collects and processes your payment-card and billing information under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

Purchased digital items are delivered to the Discord user ID associated with the checkout. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, purchases are final after delivery and cannot be redeemed for money. If a purchase is missing or incorrect, contact us promptly with the Discord user ID and non-sensitive receipt or checkout reference. Do not send full payment-card information.

We may suspend access associated with suspected payment fraud, reversals, or disputes while they are investigated. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

6. Your commands, names, and other content

You retain any rights you have in content you submit, such as command arguments, album names, tags, and trade inputs. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to receive, process, store, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to submit it. Do not use commands to send passwords, login codes, identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive personal information.

7. Third-party platforms and materials

The Service depends on Discord, Stripe when purchases are enabled, and hosting, database, cache, and content-delivery providers. Their availability and their handling of data are governed by their own terms and policies.

Third-party character names, artwork, game titles, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Suicaptor at any time and may remove it from a server you control. We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, the Service or its users are at risk, fraud or abuse occurred, Discord requires it, or continued operation is not practical.

Ending access does not automatically erase records we must keep for legitimate security, transaction, dispute, legal, or operational purposes. Data choices and deletion requests are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes, availability, and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, pause, or end, and game data may occasionally be unavailable or require correction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that Discord, Stripe, network services, third-party content, or external links will always be available, accurate, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suicaptor and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of virtual items, or business interruption arising from the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Suicaptor during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $50. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service, Discord requirements, or applicable law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable Service channel when practical. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
