SUICAPTOR PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
What Suicaptor receives, why it is used, where it is shared, and how to request deletion.
Effective and last updated: August 28, 2026
Plain-language summary
Suicaptor uses Discord identifiers and command context to run a persistent multiplayer card game. It stores game progress and settings. It does not sell personal data, run behavioral advertising, or receive full payment-card details. The current public website does not use analytics trackers or set first-party cookies.
1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the Suicaptor Discord app, bot commands, related game features, and www.suicaptor.com (together, the "Service"). Suicaptor is operated by the independent developer identified in the contact section below.
Discord, Stripe, and other third-party services process information under their own privacy policies. This Policy describes Suicaptor's processing and does not replace theirs.
2. Information Suicaptor receives
Discord identifiers and context
Discord user IDs; server (guild), channel, and message IDs; command or interaction names and options; and, when needed to respond or display results, usernames, display names, mentions, roles, and basic server context supplied by Discord.
Game records and settings
Cards, inventories, balances, drops, claims, cooldowns, jobs, dates, bonds, wishlists, tags, albums, trades, battles, wagers, ranks, reminders, prefixes, configured drop channels, timestamps, and moderation or ban status.
Content you choose to submit
Command arguments and user-created values such as album names, tag names and emoji, trade inputs, and settings. Do not submit passwords, login codes, identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Purchase and dispute records
If purchases are enabled: the selected package, virtual-currency amount, Discord user ID, Stripe checkout-session and payment-intent identifiers, fulfillment status, and dispute identifiers. Stripe receives the payment and billing details; Suicaptor does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Technical and security data
Command names, error details, service events, identifiers involved in an error, and—when debug logging is enabled—command arguments or Discord username tags. Website and infrastructure providers may also process IP addresses, browser or device headers, request times, and security logs.
3. Discord message content
Suicaptor supports text-prefix commands and message-based trade inputs. When Discord's Message Content access is enabled, the bot receives messages in channels it can access so it can detect its prefix, process commands and active trade inputs, and trigger configured game behavior.
Suicaptor does not intentionally build a permanent archive of ordinary server or direct-message conversations. Under the current bot configuration, Discord message objects may remain temporarily in process memory and are swept after about 30 minutes. Command names, arguments, message IDs, and error context may be processed or logged as described above, while specific message IDs and channel IDs may be retained when needed to maintain a drop, date, trade, or other game session.
4. How information is used
We use information to:
- respond to commands and interactions and maintain persistent game progress;
- run drops, inventories, economies, jobs, battles, trades, dates, reminders, rankings, and server settings;
- create and deliver card and game images;
- create Stripe Checkout sessions, fulfill purchases, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and handle refunds or disputes when purchases are enabled;
- detect abuse, enforce rules, secure the Service, diagnose failures, and prevent fraud;
- operate, measure, troubleshoot, and improve reliability and game balance; and
- comply with law, Discord requirements, and valid legal requests.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing is based as applicable on performing the Service you requested, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, consent or server permissions, and legal obligations.
5. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information:
- to Discord, when sending bot responses, embeds, mentions, files, commands, and interaction updates through Discord;
- to Stripe, to create and reconcile checkout, payment, refund, and dispute activity when purchases are enabled;
- to infrastructure providers, such as hosting, database, Redis/cache, logging, and content-delivery or object-storage services—including Railway and Cloudflare R2 where used—to operate the Service;
- to other Discord users and the public, when a command, leaderboard, trade, battle, drop, or other feature is designed to display results;
- for safety or legal reasons, when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce these policies, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process; and
- during a reorganization, if the Service is transferred, merged, financed, or sold, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.
6. Information visible to others
Discord commands are often used in shared channels. Responses can show Discord mentions, card codes, collections, wishlists, balances or wagers, trade offers, battle results, rankings, and other game activity to people who can view that channel. The public companion site may show card codes, artwork, statistics, and aggregate rankings; its current leaderboard intentionally omits the player's Discord name.
Server administrators control where the bot is installed and which channels and permissions it receives. Use direct messages or ephemeral commands when an available feature offers them and you do not want a result shown in a shared channel.
7. Data retention
Suicaptor is a persistent collection game, so account, inventory, economy, settings, transaction, moderation, and gameplay-history records are generally retained while they are needed to provide the Service. Some of these records currently have no fixed automatic expiration. Short-lived sessions, locks, and caches expire or are swept according to their operational timeouts; Discord message objects in the bot's in-memory cache are currently swept after about 30 minutes.
Payment, dispute, fraud-prevention, moderation, security, backup, and legal records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute, enforce rules, protect the Service, or comply with law. When a valid deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify data that is not still required for one of those purposes.
8. Your choices, access, and deletion
- You can stop using the bot, disable reminders and optional settings, and ask a server administrator to remove Suicaptor from a server.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Discord user ID through the contact method below.
- We may ask for reasonable verification through the Discord account tied to the requested user ID before acting, to avoid deleting or disclosing another person's data.
- Deleting game data is permanent and removes access to associated progress and virtual items. Some transaction, dispute, security, or legal records may be retained or de-identified as described above.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability, or complain to a data-protection authority.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including limited Discord permissions, access controls, secret management, request validation, bounded caches, and encrypted network connections where supported. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and provider safeguards.
10. Children's privacy
Suicaptor is not intended for anyone below Discord's minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly seek personal information from a child who is not permitted to use Discord. If you believe such information was provided, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service, data practices, Discord requirements, or applicable law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable Service channel when practical.
